Yay, it’s Friday the 13th! :cheer: It’s my second favorite holiday after Halloween!

What? Well I already knew I was a bit odd . . . I dress up in girl’s clothes and take pictures of myself for god’s sake! Apparently being a tgirl comes with some other little quirks as well. But that’s just what makes me so lovable and adorable :bubbles:

Work got so crazy this week though that I’m really just looking for any excuse I can to celebrate the fact that it’s Friday. Oy. The good news is I might be changing jobs (just my day job, don’t worry, I will keep running The Crossdresser .com for quite awhile!). The bad news is my new job might require even longer hours, more travel, and I will be working at 3 levels above my payscale! The things I do to try and get promoted . . .

But for the next two days I’m thinking about nothing but crossdressing and the website! And the very tasty bottle of Ardbeg Scotch in front of me

Bad Week for this TGirl

Ok, this is a lame first post in awhile (and first post of the month too for that matter), but I’ve had a pretty shitty time at the day job this week, on top of traveling for the better part of last month. Today I had a senior manager say to me “that’s absolutely appalling that you would even consider doing something like that” in reference to a research method I had proposed and spent the past 6 months trying to develop, found out one of my suppliers lost all of the data from a study I spent 3 weeks setting up, and my video processing computer for The Crossdresser .com crashed and now will not boot past the system check.

Unfortunately, I don’t think anything’s going to get better for at least . . . 3 more weeks. With a couple more trips planned for work, it will take that long to sort out all the crap that went down this week. Phew, but it feels a little better to vent at least

On the bright side ( ) waiting in line to be posted for your viewing and reading pleasure are: a new toy review, 5 or so new photo sets, an exciting shopping trip, and a new video camera! Just not today . . . so stay tuned, new useful and sexy t-girl posts are coming soon!

Sometimes Being a TGirl Catches Up with Me

Eek, it’s been forever since I’ve posted anything! Living a double life has been a little rough lately – the day job has been out of control, April is shaping up to be the worst month of the year so far for the website, and I’ve been fighting a sinus infection and sore throat for the past 5 days.

Monday I almost signed an email at my day job “Katie” . . . I think that means I need more sleep or something That would have been almost as bad as wearing nailpolish in to work

I’m out of town Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of this week, in an all day meeting Monday, then out of town Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of next week. I’m hoping to get some photosets done in the hotel on Wednesday, but I don’t have a clue when I’m going to find time to post this week’s update to the site. Might just have to do a double update next weekend. I thought I had finally gotten things down and was dedicated enough to the site that I wouldn’t run into any more situations like this. And trust me, this one isn’t for lack of dedication – The Crossdresser .com is literally 50% of my life (the other 50% being my day job). Oy.

When I finish up this project at work, I’m taking a week of vacation, that’s all there is to it. Time to do some yardwork and get caught up on the site. So there In the meantime I just need to kick this sinus infection in the ass . . .

No Rest for an Amateur TGirl

You know, considering that 90% of my waking hours that aren’t spent at work are spent working on my website (the other 10% go to cleaning the house or playing broomball), I really don’t understand how I get so far behind some weeks! I never realized that running a website was so much work until I really got into it. I mean, you can run a website casually, just post some pics every now and then when you feel like it, and that’s no big deal. But if you actually feel obligated to update every week (which I do!), plus write diary entries (private ones for members only ), plus keep up all the extra features (like my virtual searchable crossdressing closet, my rotating favorite pictures, my gallery of paintings that have been done of me, etc), plus keep up with industry contacts and market the site . . . it’s easily a full time job plus some. And then there’s this blog on top of everything, which I love, but it takes time too!

Well hopefully things are calming down, because I owe everyone some posts on here. And I need to do some more photo shoots. And I’m trying to redecorate my den (ie hang curtains so the neighbors can’t see me prancing around in pantyhose and high heels )
