Apparently I’m Actually a Blonde T girl

  • :bubbles: So I just spent the past 2 days trying to change the default emoticons in WordPress (that’s what I use to write my blog). And aside from the fact that I had to write a little code (little = a single variable array), it should have been pretty easy considering I had several step-by-step guides at my fingertips.

    But no, all the guides say to put a space in front of your text codes so that if you type “(I had 8)” it doesn’t come out “(I had 8) “.  So I followed that clever piece of advice only to discover after 2 days of banging my head on my keyboard that those little spaces were causing WordPress to not recognize my smilies :(
